The PADI Advanced Open Water
Diver course is your next step on the recreational diving ladder.
You will make five dives and have the opportunity to try some of
diving’s most rewarding and useful specialty activities, such
as deep diving, digital underwater photography, wreck diving and
much more. These Adventure Dives enhance your skills underwater,
take your diving to the next level and take you a step closer to
earning your Master Scuba Diver certification - The ultimate non-professional
recreational diving acheivement.
The course includes two compulsary dives (Underwater Navigation
and Deep Dives) which will boost your confidence and build on the
skills developed in your Open Water course. Then you must complete
a further three Adventure Dives from a list of 15 options.
Minimum Age: 15 or 12 for
Junior Advanced Open Water Diver.
Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver
certification.
Knowledge Development: Five sessions.
Number of Dives: Five. PADI Deep
Diver and PADI Underwater Navigation navigation are compulsary.
Students are then required to choose 3 adventure dives from 15 options
such as Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, Drift
Diver, Search and Recovery and Peak Performance Buoyancy.
Required Materials: PADI Advantures
in Diving Crew-Pak, Adventures in Diving DVD, manual and log book.
Required Equipment:
Mask, snorkel, fins, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible
pressure gauge, exposure suit and specialised equipment such as
DPV for selected specialisation. All equipment hire is included
for the duration of the course.
